Maheesha Ratnayake is a hospitality entrepreneur and senior executive with over 25 years of experience building, transforming, and managing luxury leisure enterprises across Sri Lanka, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and the United States. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Winfinity Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, and the founder of The Leisure Company, Sri Lanka's first leisure sector-focused Business Process Outsourcing firm, operating across hospitality investment, organisational transformation, and leisure asset development. 

His executive career has taken him across the world's most distinguished hospitality environments. At Resplendent Ceylon, home to a celebrated collection of Relais & Châteaux properties, Maheesha rose from Director of Operations to Chief Executive Officer, elevating the brand to the global stage and co-creating The Reverie Collection, a white-label lifestyle resort brand that brought a new creative and commercial ambition to Sri Lankan luxury travel. It was under his leadership that the foundations were laid for the portfolio to earn Michelin Keys across every property, a landmark recognition in Sri Lankan hospitality history. He subsequently served as Sector Head for Sri Lanka at Aitken Spence Hotel Management PLC, one of the country's most respected publicly listed hospitality groups. 

Earlier in his career, Maheesha led food and beverage operations at some of the world's most celebrated addresses, including a pre-opening consulting engagement with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa in Riyadh, the Marriott Autograph Collection in the British Virgin Islands, Sandals Resorts International in Jamaica, and Grosvenor House Dubai under the Starwood Luxury Collection and Le Méridien flags. In these roles he collaborated with culinary luminaries including Garry Rhodes OBE, Vineet Bhatia, Richard Sandoval and Mark Fuller, and worked alongside the global Buddha Bar concept, building a rare fluency in the intersection of world-class hospitality, food culture, and guest experience design.
